SalesBox provides a platform that allows our business customers to store, manipulate, analyze and transfer messages between their business systems and their customers on a variety of SalesBox-provided and third party messaging channels (the “Service”). In the course of providing the Service, SalesBox may receive, access, analyze, process and maintain personal information on behalf of our customers for the purposes of providing the Service. Our customers determine the types of personal information that will be collected and used within the Service, and this data may be deleted by our customers from our systems at any time. We require our customers to ensure that they have obtained all authority to provide personal information to us in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
As part of the Service, we may also analyze data on behalf of our customers and provide insights and statistics on an aggregated basis to help our customers measure performance, better understand their customers and improve their product and service offerings.
In the case of our Website, SalesBox may collect and use the following information:
- Request a Demo. When you request a free demo, we may collect your first and last name, job title, business email address and information about your company. We use this information to contact you and otherwise facilitate your free demo.
- Submit a Job Application.: If you apply for a job at SalesBox, you may provide us with certain personal information about yourself, such as information contained in a resume, cover letter, or similar employment-related materials. We use this information for the purpose of processing and responding to your application for current and future career opportunities.
- Contact Us.: When you contact us with a comment, question or complaint, you may be asked for information that identifies you, such as your name, address and a telephone number, along with additional information we need to help us promptly answer your question or respond to your comment. We collect the IP (Internet protocol) addresses of all visitors to our Website and other related information such as page requests, browser type, operating system and average time spent on our Website. We use this information to help us understand our Website activity, and to monitor and improve our Website.
